Randolph Coal and Ice

I arrived back home last night after a great weekend at the New England RPM to find this sitting in a box on the front steps.
Some weathering on the roof and a little coloration (some washes or perhaps Pan Pastel) to give just a slight reddish tone to the siding and it will be ready for installation in the revised Randolph scene.

"to find this sitting in a box on the front steps" Wow you have a scratchbuilding fairy?

Holy Cow - I wish I had something like that waiting for me on the front steps when I got home - instead of the usual mangled newspaper... You must be livin' right!

This mock-up is similar to the real building of Randolph Coal and Ice that located at Randolph, Vermont. The railroad is no longer delivering coal to Randolph, but the structures sit relatively intact and intriguing.

I wish I had such a fairy! Very neat model. The peeling paint weathering is perfect.
