It more may be the photos, BUT the proximity of the HO structure so near the N gauge factory doesn't work for me. Maybe a substantial tree line to partially hide the small structure.
I think you're referring to the photos of the store in the more recent blog post? Last photo in the 29 May post shows the basic composition of the scene. As mentioned in the text the plan is to screen the store with some close to scale height trees between the road and background mill river.
