  2. Marty, that's going to work out well. It captures the feeling of the station area, but doesn't gobble up ridiculous amounts of space.

    If you "camouflage" the area behind the wall with scenery colours and a bit of foliage, and keep it illuminated to the same level as the train room, the "hole" should pretty much disappear- to others, at least. You're probably so sensitive to it, that you'll need time to get used to the effect.

    In a previous post, you mentioned concerns about dust and debris building up in a staging yard in the workshop. Any chance you could protect the staging yard with a simple clear curtain hanging around the yard from the ceiling? Possibly you could hang them in a manner similar to shower curtains, so they wouldn't prevent quick and easy access?

    Keep up the great work- I know many of us are enjoying the opportunity to watch your layout as it evolves, and are learning from it.
